Chengying Feng PT, BSc, BEd, MEd, MSc

Registered Physiotherapist

 

Chengying Feng has a BSc degree in Physiotherapy from Hungary and MSc degree in Rehabilitation Science from Queen’s University at Kingston. She also has BEd and MEd degrees. Chengying is licensed as an Independent Practice physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Chengying has completed her physiotherapy placements in various clinical settings in Hungary and China. More recently, she has completed Level 1 Acupuncture certification from Acupuncture Canada, Mulligan's lower quadrant manual therapy course and post-concussion rehabilitation course. Chengying is also a certified Nordic Walking instructor. She plans to pursue further professional development courses in manual therapy, pelvic floor therapy and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS).

Chengying's current research at Queen's University focuses on developing and implementing interventions to address fall and fear of falling issues among older adults, especially older adults after hip fracture.

​

She is a published researcher in exercise development.

Chengying has practiced Taekwondo for 9 years and has don 4 certification. She has worked as a Physical Education teacher in a high school for four years.

 

In her spare time, Chengying enjoys reading books, going to gym and engaging in outdoor activities.
